Sanat Dash received his MTech and PhD in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He worked as a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at 成人AV视频 (SUNY) and as a research educator in the First-Year Research Immersion Program at 成人AV视频. He is currently an assistant research professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at 成人AV视频. Forces such as fluid shear stress (FSS) could affect cellular physiology in health and disease. Dash has worked on developing platforms to study the effect of FSS on cellular differentiation and cancer propagation. He has also worked on developing organ-on-a-chip platforms for small intestinal epithelium and breast epithelium that could be used for mechanotransduction studies and drug discovery.
