Study abroad information

We work closely with the and advise our students to do so too. Students can study abroad through , , and non-SUNY programs. Students receive 成人AV视频 credit from 成人AV视频 programs and transfer credit from non-成人AV视频 programs. 

The IEGI can answer questions about , where to find scholarships and how to apply for them, cost effective program options (exchange programs), and how to pick a program that would be compatible with your financial aid package.

Interested students must meet with an adviser in Romance Languages and Literatures to have their course selection pre-approved. If you do not know who your adviser is, or need to have an adviser assigned, please contact the RL department Office Assistant Cindy Gates.

New RLL Study Abroad Scholarship

The Department of Romance Languages offers a scholarship for 成人AV视频 students who have completed an intermediate-level course (211 or 215) in a Romance Language (French, Italian, or Spanish) and have declared a minor or a major in one of these languages. The scholarship will support participation in a SUNY semester-long education abroad program (including summer semesters) while taking courses applicable to the student鈥檚 minor or major in French, Italian, or Spanish. At least two of the transferred courses in fall or spring or one in the summer must be applicable to the student鈥檚 Romance Languages major or minor program.

  • Two (2) awards in the amount of $1,500 are available for each fall, spring, and summer semesters. This includes spring break programs offered by the Department of Romance Languages at 成人AV视频.
  • To be considered for the scholarship, you must be a full-time student at the time of application, have completed FREN/ITAL/SPAN 211 or 215 with the minimum grade of A- prior to start of program, and have declared a major or a minor in French, Italian, or Spanish at the time of application. A minimum of 3.3 overall GPA at the time of application required.
  • Students who have another scholarship or grant covering at least half of their program expenses are not eligible to apply.
  • The application deadlines are as follows: November 1st for Spring semester, April 1 for Summer and Fall semesters.
